After completing 5 years at Nanluoguxiang and being in our sixth year now, we’ve decided to totally revamp and renovate our Nanluoguxiang Flagship Store for you! Our store will undergo some major construction and will be closed starting from Tuesday, March 26th to the second week of April. We are truly sorry for the inconvenience! Our 2 airport stores will continue to be open for business as usual and people are also able to order online on our NLGX Taobao Store (http://shop37012289.taobao.com) or on our International Online Store (www.nlgxdesign.com).

Reinforcing our organizations’ commitment to environmentally friendly methods of reaching JUE Festival events, participants in Bike to JUE will have the opportunity to win exciting prizes from NLGX. It has been a very successful year in the development of NLGX, proudly Beijing-based and locally-inspired. With the opening of our two stores at Beijing Capital Airport, we’ve finally ventured outside of the hutongs with NLGX-branded stores. We’ve also received overwhelmingly positive feedback on the launch of our KOMMUTE brand of bicycle apparel and will continue developing our Storm Collar and Paper Wool styles into a full fledged collection in the upcoming years.

NLGX open call for Beijing restaurateurs for co-tenant partnership at Nanluoguxiang

It’s been 5 years since we opened our store at Nanluoguxiang. A lot has changed since. As some of you may remember, we started out as NLGX Design & Café, a mixed use café and retail store concept that hosted local community and cultural events. As our design collection grew with NLGX Recycled Bags, Graphic Hoodies, and KOMMUTE urban bicycling apparel, we evolved into a retail flagship store which became the showcase for all our newest designs and design prototypes.

Meanwhile, the street has evolved from cafes and boutique stores in 2008, to souvenir shops and bars in 2010, and now more recently to street snacks in 2012.

Starting this January, we are looking for a professional team in the Beijing F&B space to help us evolve our shop once again to match the changing tastes of our customers at Nanluoguxiang. We are making available up to 40 sqm of prime retail space, with up to 3 meters wide of store window frontage, and a 25 sqm rooftop deck for private events. Co-branding opportunities will be considered as well.

We have invested 5 years to make our Nanluoguxiang location a premier destination for Beijing residents and visitors looking for the latest in original Chinese design, and have become one of Beijing’s most recognizable local brands sought by both local and foreign media.

This is a special, limited opportunity to share a space on Nanluoguxiang. We look forward to speaking with all interested parties!
